Alex Easton MLA has today called on Council to sort the state of the car park at Drumfad out as a matter of urgency.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“Sadly having been at the Drumfad car park over the Easter weekend I was horrified at the state of the car park and slipway leading down to the beach. The car park is an absolute nightmare with potholes and entire surface of the car park is just crumbling away, and it is just a general ice sore and really is not acceptable when wanting to attract potential future visitors. The slipway is also in a dangerous state and is a major tripping hazard and why it has been allowed to be left in that state is beyond me. The Council need to make a major decision to resurface the entire car park and rebuild the slip way failure to do so would be a dereliction of health and safety.”
