Alex Easton MLA has called on the Education Authority to stump up the cash to resolve the serious car parking issue at Bangor Central Primary School.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“Having been contacted by parents who drop their children off at Bangor Central primary school, and who have complained about the serous issue of parents having to drop of their children at the old leisure centre car parking site there is a serious issue for parents driving in an doubt of the car park due to there being one access. It is my understanding having had a very constructive meeting with the head of Bangor Central that the Education Authority has agreed to build a second road to allow cars to go in one way and access the car park out by a separate road allowing the flow of traffic to flow properly and make the site safer for parents to drop off their children. This has been the plan by the Education Authority for the last several years but they have failed to deliver on this much need project. I have written to the EA and have asked for an update on these plans as they need to be done sooner rather than later.”
