Alex Easton MLA has today called on Council to take action over a lane situated behind homes at Grays Hill.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I have received numerous complaints about this laneway; it is badly overgrown and is being used as a dumping ground for all sorts of items. There are bins lined up for months which need emptied and there are rats in the area, the residents of the areas are fed up to the back teeth with the continuing mess and Council have the powers to tackle and clean up the area, and to also take action against those that are abusing the lane and using it as a dumping ground. It is not fair on those responsible residents who want to look after the area and want to have a lane that is not covered in a mess all the time. Time the Council took control and tackled this issue.”
