Alex Easton MLA has urged Ards and North Down Council and TNI to do an urgent clear up, after a sewage leak at the Clandeboye Play Park.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is an absolute nightmare and the Play Park cannot be used until this sewage leak is cleared up urgently, and that TNI and the Council ensure this cannot happen again. I know there have been problems over the years with sewage leakages, however we are talking about a children’s Play Park and we do not want anyone falling ill as a result of this mess. The Play Park needs urgently cleaned up and I have contacted the Council & TNI. This needs to be looked at so that there can be no more sewage leaks coming up through the sewage pipes onto a children’s play park. That is totally unacceptable and I am expecting both the Council and TNI to ensue this does not happen again!”
