Alex Easton MLA has expressed concern at plans to relocate TNI North Down Section office to Newtownards.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA Said:
“I am deeply disappointed at plans to remove the TNI North Down Section Office to Newtownards, this means all local operations will be managed from Newtownards which does not make logistic sense as Bangor is the area with the biggest population and is more central for the whole areas. It means that any meeting that are required on road issues will mean traveling to Newtownards. I can only hope that this will not affect service delivery and effectiveness when dealing with emergency’s, I am seriously disappointed that this is happening and disappointed I was not consulted on the plans!”
