Alex Easton MLA has today called on both the PSNI and Council to get on top of the current wave of anti social behaviour at the now Council owned Electricity site.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA Said:

“Unfortunately there has been a wave of anti social behaviour around the Balloo Wetlands and back of Rathgill going into the old NI Electricity site. The now Council owned site has repeatedly been broken into at the rear of the site with residents being continually being terrorized. Despite repeated reporting of ongoing incidents there has been a failure by Council to secure the site properly and they need to put up a proper fence to stop the site bring broken into. The PSNI and Council Anti social behaviour Wardens need to go out and patrol the wetlands in the evenings when this is happened to nip this in the bud. It is not acceptable that this is allowed to go on night after night upsetting the residents living next to the area, and I expect a better response by both Council and PSNI to deal with this issue”
