Alex Easton MLA welcomed efforts by BT to improve the look of the old BT Building on Southwell road, Bangor.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I approached and met a representative of BT last year to ask if something could be done to improve the look of the old BT Building on Southwell road. The building is an eyesore and so I managed to get BT to agree to have the boarded up windows on the old telephone exchange building on Southwell Road to be painted as pictures, this is still are work in progress and done by local guy Mark Moore, so well done to him on his efforts. It will hopefully improve the look of the place. I have also reported the pot holes on Southwell Road and I also know Southwell Road is down to be resurfaced at some time by DFI. I hope these improvements will make Southwell Road a better place for residents to live and will continue to try my best to improve the area for all.
