Alex Easton MLA pays tribute to the Meadowbank Club in Donaghadee for raising £3000 towards buying three defibulators for Donaghadee.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I would like to pay tribute to the Meadowbank Club in Donaghadee for the fantastic efforts they have done to buy three difibulators for Donaghadee. The three defibulators will be put in three separate locations across Donaghadee, the first being the Meadowbank Club, the Co-op and the Moat Inn.”

“Difibulators have saved the lives of dozens of people across Northern Ireland and for the Meadowbank Club to raise so much money for their own home town is both generous and exceptional. I would like to say a big thank you to all involved for raising the money, and for inviting me to the Meadowbank Club to see the defibulators and how they work. Hopefully these will never have to be used but it is a great comfort to know they are available to the people of Donaghadee at short notice.”
