A delighted Alex Easton MLA today spoke of his immense pride in the announcement of Bangor as a city as part of the platinum jubilee celebrations with the announcement coming from the Queen.
Speaking today the MLA stated;
“What a wonderful announcement on the celebrations of a brilliant monarch. We need now to build upon our status to bring new investment and tourism to Bangor City. Let this be the beginning of a renewed drive to promote our historic and cultural offering here in Bangor and in our celebrations, let us pay tribute to our Queen who not only has impeccably followed her duty and is the very definition of duty, service and leadership.”
