Alex Easton MLA has today described the council as incompetent after work was done to hedging in Linear Park.
Speakink today Alex Easton MLA said
“Residents living on the boundary of Linear Park are up in arms at the carnage that the council have done to hedges and trees along its boundary. The work to trim hedging is a hatchet job which has destroyed hedging and trees and damaged wildlife in my opinion. Not only have they created a mess they also failed to notify residents who have now had their privacy to their homes affected. In future Council needs to take into consideration the residents but also consider the impact they have created with the destruction of valuable hedges and trees. I am calling on the Council to stop the Environmental damage they are causing as this will take years to recover.”
