Alex Easton MLA has accused council of not maintaining the Banks Lane Carpark.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“It amazes me how many incidents I have to report on a monthly bases about areas that are not being maintained and checked by Council. The latest incident being at Banks Lane were coping tops on the low lying walls are either falling down or else are lying loose. Nobody bothers to check and then it gets reported to me and I have to email or phone council to ask for repairs to be made. This latest issue has quite a substantial amount of loose stones on top of walls around Banks lane car park which need to be cemented and secured I have emailed the council and would just ask them to get their act together and please check their facility’s on a regular basis and keep on top of maintenance its not a lot to ask for.”
