Alex Easton MLA has questioned why £450,000 is being spent on upgrading the Groomsport Roundabout when there is nothing wrong with it.
“I am at a loss as to why the Groomsport roundabout needs upgraded let alone £450,000 spent on it. The roundabout is in good condition many people who have contacted me are questioning why this is needed.
I firmly believe this money would be much better spent on fixing the many potholes and areas that need to be resurfaced across North Down. I have placed an NI Assembly question down to the DFI Minister to ask why as I am at a complete loss as to why this work needs to be done.
