Alex Easton MLA has today question why Ards and North Down Council and the Department of Communities not taken steps to demolish the row of abandoned houses on Kings Street, Bangor as part of the Queen Parade project.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“It is a disgrace that these homes which have been bought as part of the Queens develop project have been lying empty for years. They are an eyesore and people could have been allowed to keep living in them as they have just been left there empty for years. I am today calling on the Department of Communities and Council to enter discussions to remove and know this eyesore and shoe that there at least is some sort of movement on the Queens Parade project instead of just leaving the area to stand as a derelict abandoned row of houses, everyone has lost faith in the Council and the Department to deliver on Queens Parade.”
