Alex Easton MLA was deeply shocked to hear of two arrests onsuspicion of offences linked to suspected people trafficking and prostitution.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is deeply shocking to hear that two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and prostitution. I understand that three woman may be involved. This is such a shock as Holborn Court is in the centre of Bangor, and just of our main shopping areas of High Street and Main Street it is a complete shock.”
“I can only hope that the women involved are treated well and given all the support they need to help them through this ordeal. I would be calling of anyone with any information to come forward to the Police to assist them in their inquiries.”
