Alex Easton MLA had today condemned those responsible for damage to the Bloomfield Play Park, Bangor.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I find this particular issue very frustrating having been heavily involved in campaigning and delivering the play park for residents of Bloomfield Estate. This play park cost may thousands of pounds to build and cost considerable money to be maintained by the Council. It is so disappointing to see vandalism and damage to the play park which will have to be repaired at considerable expense to the ratepayers down to the mindless and totally unnecessary actions of a few. I would call on anyone with information as to those responsible to be passed on to the Council so that they can be held responsible for their actions and if possible be made to pay for the damage they have caused.”
