Alex Easton MLA has today called on Ards and North Down Council to invest in resurfacing the public car park on the Ballywalter Road, Millilse.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“Having received complaints about pot holes and just the general condition of the carriage way and surface of the public car park at the Ballywalter Road in Millilse, I decided to look at the car park myself. I was appalled at the state of the Councils car park, which is really worn out and dreadful looking. Millilse is a village that attracts tourists and if we want to continue this then it is important that we provide the best possible services and the best looking facility’s that are attractive visually but, to also attract tourists and residents to use the car park so that they then use the beech and then also use the village facility’s and shops and put investment into Millisle. I have reported some pot hole issues to the Council for repair, however I am now calling on the Council to bring a report to the Council with a view to have the car park resurfaced for the future.”
