Alex Easton MLA is delighted to hear the news that progress has been made in taking ownership of an empty open space at Ambleside.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“While the process has been complicated I am optimistic that the decision by council to make an application for possessory/qualified title will hopefully be successful and that the Council will be able to take full ownership of the open space in the near future.”

“The area has been subject to anti-social behavior and dumping over the years and if the Councils application is successful we will be able to do something to the open space at Ambleside that will turn the open space into something worthwhile that the local community can be happy with, any future plans must be in consultation with the local community”.
