Alex Easton MLA has today welcomed news from the DSD that the Strand area of Holywood will benefit from an External Cyclical Maintenance Scheme.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is good news for the residents of the Strand in Holywood which will see all 72 Housing Executive Properties having work done to the outside of their properties to tidy them up and improve their homes from 2014/15.
“At times it seems the Strand is forgotten about because of its location and size, however it is important that such areas get the same treatment and good works as all other areas. I am determined to ensure that by working with the RECON community group that the Strand gets the best for the area and the best for the residents living there.”
