Alex Easton MLA tells Secretary of State to stop messing about and give the money for pay awards to all Health Staff and teachers.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
It is only right and proper that all Health Staff, nurses, Doctors and Teaching staff management support their staff with proper wages and conditions. There is precious little acknowledgement of the work that continued throughout the Covid pandemic and precious little acknowledgement of the cost of living crises by experienced by so many including health staff and teachers which is undermining morale and confidence
I fully support our Health Staff and teachers and demand that they are treated with respect and are acknowledged for the hard work they have done which reflects a proper pay award, stop using them as a stick to beat us with and award pay increases similar to the rest of the United Kingdom.
