Alex Easton MLA was most proud to have brought Arlene Foster down to Bangor to visit the Kilcooley Women’s Education centre, SERC and Bangor Aurora Leisure Centre.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I am delighted to have been with the First Minister and Party Leader on her first visit to Bangor in her new roles as First Minister. I believe the first minister was highly impressed with the work being down by the staff of the Kilcooley Women’s Education Centre and Kilcooley Primary School and the Head Mistress Pauline Brown. The First Minister was delighted to have been shown the many different courses and met many of the students using the centre of excellent, and I believe she went away delighted especially at the work being done by the staff from the Kilcooley Women’s Education Centre and the manager Alison Blaney.”
“There was also a visit to SERC to see first-hand the work being doing in Engineering and the Arts, and the First Minister was given a tour of the new theatre by Ken Webb. The final visit was to see Bangor Aurora were the First Minister was shown around the new leisure Centre by Steven Reid the Chief Executive of Ards and North Down Council. The whole trip was very worthwhile, especially as many people took the time out to speak to the new First Minister and wish her all the very best in her new role.”
