Alex Easton MLA visits Loughview Estate in Holywood, and is delighted to see contractors finally clearing the flats away from West Green.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“After visiting Loughview Estate at the weekend I was really pleased to see that the work to clear West Green was well under way. This has long been blight on the local community and I am sure that the local community will be really pleased to see the demolishment is nearly finished.”
“For years I alongside others have been campaigning to see the flats demolished and it is always satisfying to see that work being started. I hope the work to build the social housing as promised by Clanmill Housing Association will start very soon after the site is finally cleared so that we can get much needed social housing into Loughview and house family’s that need a home.”
