Alex Easton MLA and his colleagues Alderman Wesley Irvine and Alderman Bill Keery went to visit to Bangor Football Club.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“We decided it was important to visit Bangor Football Club for a catch up and to also congratulate the Club on their fantastic Steel and Sons Cup victory. We had a discussion on the plans for the future for the club and their aspirations and listed to how well the pitch is used by so many football teams and community. We offered our support and help if ever needed by the club and have gone away to follow up on several issues raised with us. We enjoyed our visit and had a walk around the ground and promised to keep supporting and helping the club in any way we could”
Alderman Wesley Irvine said:
“I was delighted to visit the club and it is important as local Councillors that we show an interest and support to our local football club.”
