Alex Easton MLA was delighted to hear the news that Cairn Wood is now on hold after the DRD Minister called a halt to the process to explore options.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is great news to hear that the DRD Minister has called a halt to the sale of Cairn Wood to explore other options. I had spoken with the Minister only yesterday on the issue and I am delighted she has taken this issue so seriously. Cairn Wood is one of the best walking facility in North Down, and its beauty is hard to match. I am delighted it will continue to be open to the public for use.”
