Alex Easton MLA has today submitted an Adjournment debate for debate at the NI Assembly.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I am deeply dismayed at the prospect of FASA closing its doors especially the Bangor office. I went down to visit the staff on Thursday to get a feel for what has happened and to show my support. This services offered by FASA is vital to the local community, the amount of people they have helped with counselling services and indeed the lives they have saved are staggering and we cannot afford to lose this charity. I have submitted an Adjournment Debate to the NI Assembly and have also written to the Public Health Agency as I believe we need to explore the possibility of another organisation possibly coming in to keep the staff and services going. All I can do is offer my help and hopefully do all I can to support FASA.”
