Alex Easton MP had today called on Council and DFI to speed up the redevelopment process on Queens Parade.
Speaking today Alex Easton MP said:
“I know council and DFI have to go through their processes but this has been going on far too long. Many of us wonder after 30 odd years when will we actually see work starting proper. I ask myself will I ever see this work started, will I be alive to even appreciate this project. This has dragged on far too long, its like one foot forward then two footsteps back. The latest update on Queens Parade from Council has indicated work will start towards the end of the year, but will it. I am sceptical of the Councils ability to take this forward and will be watching council closely to see it delivers.”
