Alex Easton MLA has today welcomed two new temporary mobile classrooms for St Columbanus College.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I was delighted to have been invited by the principle of St Columbanus College Liam Perry to the opening of the two new temporary classrooms which were erected last week at the school. This is great news for the pupils and staff of St Columbanus College who have had such an increase in numbers due to the popularity and excellent results at the school and the need for extra accommodation was critical.”
“The issue had been raised by me at the NI Assembly and I am delighted the Education Department recognised the critical nature and need for the temporary classrooms to be provided and delivered. This also emphasises the need for a new school build and I will be pushing the issue as one of my top priorities.”
