Alex Easton MLA has urged someone to take responsibility for a public lane.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I have been asked by local residents to see if the lane that is regularly used by residents walking through from the Gransha Road into The Beeches is cut back and cleaned. The lane used to be cleaned and was formerly owned by the farm hath used to be on the site. The laneway as you can see has now been n ignored for several years and the lane has become overgrown and a mess for residents to have to negotiate as they walk along it. The laneway is also so overgrown it is now impeding on peoples back gardens and needs to be addressed. I have written to the Council to see if they maintain it and if not can they locate the owners with a view to it being cut back. This is not an acceptable situation and the lane needs cut back.
