Alex Easton MLA has asked both the Council Environmental Health and the Environmental Health Agency to take action over empty building in Millisle.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I am truly disappointed that this building has just been left abandoned, which was extremely badly damaged several years ago, and has been left in the state it currently is in. Apart from the current dangerous state the building is currently in it is covered in sheeting which has been damaged and in my opinion these should have been removed for health and safety reasons a long time ago, the building should have been demolished in my opinion. The site has just been left in a mess and is now being used as a dumping ground with litter just lying all over the place. I am asking the Environmental Health Agency and Council to take whatever action is needed to make this site safe and ensure the site is cleared of all rubbish, the people of Millisle deserve better.”
