Alex Easton MLA today unveiled a new defibrillator at the Red Berry in Bangor.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
It was an honour to have been asked to unveil a new defibrillator at the Red Berry yesterday, well done to all the staff and customers who helped raise the funds for such an important devise. It is proven that hundreds of lives are saved every year with defibrillators and that your chances of surviving a heart attack increase 50% with the use of a defibrillator. This is the second defibrillator in the Main Street in Bangor and I hope that in the future defibrillators are widely available in all towns and villages across Northern Ireland. Thank you to Glynn Orchin for asking me to unveil the defibrillator and well done to all involved.
