Alex Easton MLA has had a lengthy conversation with the Manager of Bloomfield Shopping Centre Jamie Bill over Bloomfield Shopping Centre going into Receivership.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“Obviously I was deeply concerned and alarmed when I heard that Bloomfield Shopping Centre had gone in to receivership and phoned the Manager Jamie Bill to discuss the issue and offer any support I could. After an in-depth conversation I now understand that the Bank now owns the Bloomfield Shopping Centre and will continue to run the shopping Centre for the foreseeable future. There is the aim to see the Shopping Centre sold as a going concern in the future; however this could be some considerable time before a buyer can be found. The good news is that the Shopping Centre is not going to close and all the shops will continue to operate as normal, and there will be No job losses as a result.”
