Alex Easton MLA was asked to speak at the Beechfield Residents Associations AGM on Thursday evening at Donaghadee Orange Hall.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I was delighted to have been asked to speak at the annual AGM of the Beechfield Residents Association this evening. The AGM was well attended with around 50 people turning up to elect a new committee but to also listen to the work done over the last year. In attendance were the Housing Executive and Ards and North Down Council. Alex Easton MLA spoke and mention about all the good work that had been carried out in partnership together over the years to make improvements such as double glazing, gas heating, the Cannyreagh and Northfield Roads being resurfaced and footpaths and new lights being installed in Ashfield, there was the mention of the Areas at Risk programme and the new bus shelters erected for residents. The Committee was then elected and there were congratulations by everyone in the room, tributes were paid to the work of the previous committee. This was a great AGM and everyone went home happy after an enjoyable evening.”
