Alex Easton MLA today praised the Orange Order, the Bands and all those involved in organising the 12th celebrations in Bangor as the biggest in a generation as the PSNI confirm 50,000 spectators.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said.
“This is beyond a doubt the biggest 12th celebrations seen in Bangor for generations, with the PSNI confirming to me that 50,000 spectators lining the streets of Bangor to watch the four Orange Order Districts and bands walk through Bangor.”
“It was a great privilege to take part in this family day out, and with all the family entertainment that was laid on ranging from the re-enactments of King Williams Troops along the route and entertainment, food and play facility’s for the children at the Valentine playing fields made it an even better day out for all. I would pay tribute to Bangor District and to all those involved in all the organisation that went into the day and particular to the District Master Bobby West for his leadership on the day.”
