“It is with much sadness that I hear my colleague Gordon has passed away. Gordon served the people of North Down and Holywood well for many years as a Councillor and MLA and has helped hundreds of people over that time on many issues, His Christian values were always at the forefront of many of his decisions and a source of great comfort during his illness, his family were his life and they will greatly miss him. He will be missed by many and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.”
