Alex Easton MLA and his colleague Alderman Wesley Irvine meet up with the District Commander Johnston McDowell on Thursday afternoon at Bangor PSNI station.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I was delighted to meet up with the New PSNI Commander for the Ards and North Down area Johnston McDowell, I felt that it was important to meet the new commander to get to know him and build up a good working relationship with him just as I have done with previous commanders. I with my colleague Alderman Wesley Irvine visited the Bangor PSNI station last Thursday and has a hour long get to know you meeting and raise local issues such as Anti Social Behavior and other Policing issues, we also raised the issue of more Police officers for the district. The engagement was very positive and we offered to work and help the PSNI in any way we could as elected representatives.
