“Alex Easton MLA has today welcomed the news that the Department of Infrastructure has erected the 20 MPH speed limit signs outside Millisle Primary school and several other primary schools across North Down. This was confirmed to me in a letter I sent to the Infrastructure Minister on-top of the numerous other emails and NI Assembly questions sent on the issue over the last year and it is welcomed to actually see the signs are being erected. It was disappointing that it took so long, but we have now got there and this will improve the safety for our children on the Abbey Road, Millisle at the primary school and hopefully see the speed limit drop dramatically, unfortunately this should be rolled out to every school in North Down and that should be the ultimate aim.”
