Alex Easton MLA gets update from a written NI Assembly question he submitted on the sewage system upgrade plans.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I am pleased to see form a Northern Ireland Written Question that I have submitted that the Model Build Verification (MBV) stage report will be delivered by November 2021. Why this report is so important is because it will reveal the extent of the sewage network problem which we all know is there and will provide a way forward its plans and costs as what is going to be done by NI Water to fix the problems especially on the Canneyreagh Road. There is no point in elected representatives just standing and pointing at the problem we need to collectively work together and pressurize NI Water once the report has been released to take this project and resolve the issue. I hope that we are getting to a stage where we can resolve the issue for the people of Donaghadee as the town is growing larger and larger and the sewage and water infrastructure was not built for such an increase, let’s get this resolved.”
