Alex Easton MLA has today expressed concern at yet another pollution incident at Ward Park, Bangor.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is the second time within recent months that a substance has polluted the ponds at Ward Park. What chance has the wildlife or indeed the public of being able to enjoy the park when this is a reoccurring problem. The source of this latest pollution incident needs to be found and for those involved need to be fined and made an example off. I have reported the latest incident to the NI Environment Agency and Council.”
