Alex Easton MLA is delighted to finally hear the news that Bangor Central has been given the go ahead for a new school build at Balloo.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This has been a long time coming and is welcome news, as this will be a fresh start for everyone, having met the Education Minister with the Principle some time ago to push for the next stage I am extremely delighted this has finally happened.
The project will cater for the school’s current approved enrolment of 618 pupils. The Education Authority appointed an Integrated Consultant Team to design the proposed Bangor Central Integrated Primary School in July 2020 and it is now working on the early stages of the design process.
This new build will also create jobs and add to the local economy so it’s a win win for the children, parents and jobs for the future in the construction industry.”
