Alex Easton MLA has reacted with delight at the news from an email to TNI that confirmed that Ashbury Avenue, Bangor is to have its roads resurfaced.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is fantastic news for the residents of Kilmaine, Ballymagee Silverbirch who have had to endure substandard roads for years with patches and pot holes which have made the area look very poor particularly at the Ashbury Shops. I am delighted that my constant lobbying with my colleague Alderman Bill Keary for Ashbury Avenue to be resurfaced for the residents has finally paid off. I understand from further discussions with Transport NI the work will start over the several weeks. I look forward to seeing the work being started and for the finished article being completed.”
