Alex Easton MLA has condemned those responsible for setting a Translink bus alight at Bangor bus depot.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I totally condemn those involved in setting a bus alight at Translinks bus depot in Bangor. This reckless action could have caused further damage to other buses parked near by. Setting light to buses is not only dangerous and foolish it can cause explosions and can spread fire to nearby homes and businesses which could cause loss of life.”
“The actions of those involved are totally unacceptable and I would totally condemn them for their reckless actions, they are not wanted in our community. If there is anyone with information I would urge them to pass this onto the PSNI so that those involved can be brought before the courts sentenced and jailed, I would final welcome the action of the fire service for their quick response.”
