Alex Easton MLA had today condemned anti PSNI graffiti written at the NI Water plant along the Sea Cliff Road, Bangor.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I find to truly disgusting and deeply disappointing that anyone would write such abuse about an organisation which is there to protest life and property! The PSNI do a difficult job and deserve the support of the community, while they have a difficult job to do especially dealing with dissident threats to their lives the last thing they want to see is abusive language about them. This is also extremely annoying as yet again those that are responsible are not only spreading their poison they are costing the rate payers of Ards & North Down thousands of pounds every year having to get this either cleaned off or painted off. This is unacceptable and deeply unfair to the rate payers of Ards & North Down as it adds to potential rises in rates bills. Those responsible may think there are no consequences to their actions but in reality you affect everyone by your actions, especially a Police Force which is unacceptable, and who are there to protect you! And when you are caught as you always will be eventually, you will get a criminal record which will affect your prospects in life, stop this nonsense as it achieves nothing except to upset for everyone.”
