The Woodland Trust is giving away half a million trees to schools, youth groups and community groups for planting this November. “ I am calling for the local community and schools to get involved in this fantastic opportunity to plant trees which will not only bring people together it will also help to improve our lives and climate. At a time when Ash trees are being destroyed for being diseased, it is important to replace those trees as well as making our community look more enhanced and enriched! I have sent out to all the local schools and Community groups’ information on this project and I hope they take up the challenge to plant more trees.”
