Alex Easton MLA has today called for steps and better access for those disabled to access the Orlock Beach to be built.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“Orlock Beach has become a huge success for those using the site to swim, it has become so busy and popular it is now probably the time that steps and disabled access are provide for the public who are now using the site all year round and from the early hours of the morning every day. The current access to the site is a rough path that is very uneven and not suitable for the active the site currently enjoys for swimming. I am today calling on the Council to look into the issue and work with whatever statutory agency’s needed to explore and provide steps and disabled access to the beach so that everyone will be able to use and enjoy the site safely.”
