Alex Easton MLA is deeply appalled and angered as two IRA slogans are written on residential walls near Pickie Fun Park.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I am deeply appalled and angry that some immature and irresponsible person would want to spray IRA Slogans on any wall in North Down, and to do it so near to a Public site such as Pickie Fun Park makes this even worse. In the whole time that I have lived in North Down I have never witnessed Graffiti with IRA slogans ever being written and I am deeply annoyed to come across this. Not only is this unwanted and sad it also costs the Rate Payers money to remove. I will contact the Council to see what can be done to remove this as soon as possible, as we don’t want this sort of nonsense in North Down. I would also ask if anyone knows who is responsible to also report this to the PSNI and Council so the individuals responsible can be brought before the courts.”
