Alex Easton MLA and his colleague Councillor Wesley Irvine today visited Bangor Fuels to visit their facilities and to hear first-hand how they are copping in the current economic climate.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“As an elected representative it is important that we not only visit local businesses and to see how they work but to also listen to any problems they may be experiencing especially at a time of economic hardship. Bangor Fuels is a business that has branched out and become much more diverse, it is not just delivering fuels but also repairs and sells Lawnmowers and cars and employs over 50 staff.”

“We were shown around the premises and met with management to listen to the issues Bangor Fuels are experiencing. We went away with some ideas and issues that we have promised to pursue on behalf of Bangor Fuels and will do all that we can to address those.”

“Both I and Councillor Irvine were very impressed at the work that Bangor Fuels carry out and the employment they bring to Bangor and would thank them for the tour and discussions.”
