Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“ I and my colleagues firmly believe this is a wrong decision by the SE Trust, we believe that it is vitally important that we oppose this proposal by the SE Trust and give the residents of North Down the chance to show their opposition to the SE Trust proposals to close both our minor Injury Units, this is to add to our already large online petition which currently stands at 7658 signatures, so we are supplementing this with a paper petitions for the public to sign in their local shops in Holywood, Bangor, Donaghadee and Millisle.
“We are today calling on the residents of North Down and Strangford to come out in there thousands, and sign the petition and help us to fight this unnecessary proposed closure of such a valuable facility”
