Alex Easton MLA has reacted with delight as the Ards and North Down Council take steps to resurface the entrance to the Church Street Car Park from the Belfast Road.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is a most welcome development to finally see the entrance into the Church Street Car Park finally being resurfaced. For many years the entrance was left in such a bad state that cars could hardly access the entrance due to stones and large pot holes. We have been fortunate with the handover of car parks to the Councils that I have managed to get the council to takes steps to resurface the entrance onto the Belfast Road which means drivers no longer need to worry about damage to their cars, it also makes the area safer for the residents living in this part of the Clandeyboye area. Well done to the Council for taking action on receipt of my letter.”
