ALEX EASTON MLA CALLS FOR ACTION TO REPAIR SAFETY FENCING BY TNI

Alex Easton MLA has today called on urgent action to be taken by TNI to repair safety fencing at Lisadell Drive.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“On a recent walkabout to identify issues in the Whitehill/Lisnabreen area I identified that safety fencing at Lisadell Drive has either been damaged or fallen apart. As this fencing protects people from falling down a steep embankment in the area it was important to find out who owned the fencing. I was quickly able to identify the fencing is owned by TNI and I have written to them to urge a quick and speedy response to have the fencing repaired. The safety of resident in the area is paramount so the sooner the fencing is repaired the better.”
