I am delighted at such a huge turnout, which in my time in the Orange Order is a record turnout. The weather was fantastic and the celebrations proved such a success. Everyone joined in with a family day out by celebrating our culture and tradition which is no threat to anyone. This shows the great working relationship that Radius has developed over the years with the local community and I am so pleased that they have continued to step up to the mark when needed!

EASTON CONDEMNS MURDER IN BANGOR

North Down DUP MLA Alex Easton has condemned the shooting and murder of a man at Sainsbury’s Bangor.

Commenting Mr Easton said:

“This shooting and murder is totally wrong. I condemn it in the fullest terms!

This act took place in broad day light when members of the public were shopping, myself and my wife were on our way to Home Base and this has been a terrible shock. Such an action is nothing short of sheer madness. The people behind this act had no regard for life.

The individual or individuals involved need to be caught and dealt with by the full force of the law.

This activity is not what we want in our society. I would urge anyone with information to come forward to the PSNI as a matter of urgency.”
