Alex Easton MLA has welcomed the resurfacing of the Cottons & Morston Pk and Avenue roads and footpaths.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I am delighted to see that the work has now been carried out by Transport NI at the Cotton and Morston areas to resurface the roads and footpaths. For far too long the areas have needed their footpaths and roads resurfaced, this has taken ten years of campaigning to get the Cotton resurfaced and four years for the Morston Pk and Avenue to be resurfaced. The residents have had to put up with the terrible condition of the roads and footpaths for far too long, and I am delighted that Transport NI has recognised the urgent need to take action to address this and that the work has now finished in the Cotton and Moston Pk and Avenue area which has improved the look of both areas.”
