Alex Easton MLA has today welcomed the news in a letter to himself that TNI are to finally introduce pedestrian safety measures for the Gransha Roundabout.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is welcomed news for the safety of pedestrian and residents having to cross at the Gransha Roundabout. It seems like a life time ago when I brought this up as an issue of concern at the old North Down Borough Council and I am delighted all the pressure has paid off with a letter from Simon Richardson to my last NI Assembly Question on the issue, confirming that a full Pedestrian and traffic signal control on the Gransha Roundabout with spiral road markings and upgraded street Lighting are to be introduced in June 2016.” This is great news for all and is much needed for the safety of the community.”
